Due to an overwhelming response the Conference registration is closed.
Building on the tradition of free inquiry, integrity, scholarship and service to society, the American University of Armenia (AUA) is planning a conference to determine the scope and consequences of gender-based discrimination in Armenia and ways in which AUA may facilitate female empowerment through academic participation. Knowledge gleaned from this conference will inform the development of an anticipated women’s studies program at AUA, as well as the planning of other related activities to help facilitate the empowerment of girls and women of Armenia.
